Browning Distance Learning Academy (BDLA) provides the opportunity for students to continue their high school studies in an environment many find more comfortable and encouraging than a normal brick and mortar setting. We hope to engage in a strong relationship with the student and the parents.
We have had the privilege of working with many families in the home school setting and have seen a great deal of very positive outcomes in education. The Academy is fully accredited by the Northwest Accreditation Comission (NAC). We fall under the accreditation direction of the International and Transregional Division (ITD) of the NAC. The State of Utah Department of Education prefers distance learning schools follow the guidelines of the NAC/ITD for accreditation purposes as long as all State of Utah requirements are met. We will be able to assist you in credit recovery regardless of your home state.
We have built our reputation by creating personalized learning programs that meet the needs of individual students from many geographic regions. If you favor a cutting edge computerized curriculum that blends technology and tradition, BDLA is ready to be your partner in assisting your student in being successful.
We welcome the opportunity to develop an individualized learning program for your student that will work for your family in a solid home environment. We are primarily engaged with the students regarding credit recovery. However, if the required credits are taken from BDLA, issuance of a diploma is possible once State of Utah graduation requirements are met.
